Wearnes Air Services Ltd

I was looking over the Net for quite sometime on Wearnes Brothers. They used to operate domestic flights in Straits Settlements before Malayan Airways came into existence. Pic shown above is the schedule taken from Bjorn Larsson--here.

(Copied from my Facebook--Wearnes Air Services Ltd-- this Co operated flights from Singapore and KL on select domestic routes in 1937-41. This was before the existence of Malayan Airways, later known as Malaysia Airlines (WAS and MAL were of separate entities). Operations halted in 1941 during Japanese Occupation, thus marking its four years of service to an end.)

WONDER if any former passengers can share their experience with us? Before it's too late. :)
