Tun Fatimah Hashim 1924-2010

Tun Hajjah Fatimah Hashim, the former Minister of Welfare and founder of NCWO has passed on last night at 2230hrs. She was 86.

Am in the state of shock, will update later.

UPDATE 1721hrs: Tun Fatimah Hashim has been laid to rest at the Heroes Meusoleum at Masjid Negara after Zuhur Prayers.

Among those dignitaries spotted just now was Ku Li, KSN, Tan Sri Amirsham A Aziz, Datin Paduka Seri Rosmah Mansor, Dato Seri Shahrizat Jalil, DKL, and many others.

May she rest in peace. Jasamu Dikenang, Tun.

I first and last met her May last year at her house in Bkt Pantai. That time, she was so jovial and shared almost everything with us on her journey in Umno.
